November 2015 Cookie Class
@Orson H Gygi Company
It's that time of year again! Orson Gygi is hosting their annual chocolate extravaganza this weekend and we are so excited to be a part of all the fun! How did sugar cookies find their way into this chocolate smorgasbord? We disguised them of course!
If you're signed up for cookie class this Saturday, here is the set we will be creating. This set focuses on simplicity. Sometimes we forget how cute simple can be! The holidays are just around the corner and for many of us that also means the beginning of a marathon party season. When life is so crazy, it is important to keep things simple. Cookies are so easy to customize and it makes them very versatile! These designs will make the perfect gift sets and party favors. You will learn how to create a cookie candy box, cup/mug cookies and a small gift set of mini cookies decorated like chocolates. The simplicity of this set makes it a very realistic and do-able project for any skill level. We have used this set many times over for a "Cookies & Cocoa" party theme. The chocolates look adorable all boxed up together but can also be the perfect little individual treat to send home as a party favor. You will love this chocolate cinnamon cookie recipe for the holidays!
Many of you requested that we turn our custom ZOMBIES design from Cookie Con into a set of cutters and here they are! They made the cutters a bit smaller than the original cookies and they're a perfect size!
If you're signed up for cookie class this month, here is the set we will be making. We went for the sweeter side of Halloween and just in time for trick or treating! This set focuses on the little details and how they can really jazz up a very simple design. We are so excited to see you there!
Our Frankenstein candy bucket was inspired by Sweet Sugarbelle's cute Halloween candy bucket tutorial.
The subway art stencil and star stencil are both from The Cookie Countess.
She is the magic behind SugarBliss Cookies and she is more amazing than you could ever imagine.
She does homework and puts our kids to bed so we can decorate until 2:00 in the morning, she washes frosting bottles and tips, she brings us lunch and Diet Coke when we decorate, she has the answers to all of our problems. She is Super Woman and we wouldn't be here without her. Thank you, Mom, you have loved us and supported us through all of the good, bad and the ugly.
